picture of Cafe KickOK, we're probably pushing the description of "pub" with this one. Exmouth Market's trendy table football (or "fussball", we're informed) bar is not the place we'd usually be found researching on behalf of our esteemed users; and on first glance it's obvious why. Looking like a beacon for all sorts of Hoxtonian tomfoolery, we expected the "café" to be a showcase of the latest in trainer and "ironic" haircut fashions. We were, we have to say, pleasantly surprised to see this was not solely the case. The place has a general Portuguese Brazilian atmosphere to it, maybe due to the preponderence of Portuguese beers and some dangerous (particularly in happy hour) caipirinhas. We soon found ourselves quite enjoying knawing on an olive or two, washed down with a mouthful of Sagres and were even more surprised to find ourselves indulging in what we believe to be called "a tournament" on the footy tables. However, the first person who says it has a "chilled out, laidback kind of vibe" gets a K-Swiss in the mush. And we're not talking about cocktails now.
