Earl's Court (520m)
Earls Court Tavern, only refurbished back in 2004, has been spruced up again. Eschewing the formerly white exterior, they're done a volte-face and repainted it a more sober, pub-like black. Inside its split into a few different hard and soft furnished areas and there's usually a seat to be found somewhere. Along with plush decor, we found a good range of four beers - Adnam's and Young's among them - and basic pub grub served until late. There's a few pubs in the area (some more recommended than others) but the Earls Court Tavern keeps it simple and gets the basics right, which is enough to recommended it if you're in the area.
