This picture doesn't do it much justice and it does look pretty uninviting from the outside, but don't let it put you off. The Grange is really quite unique. They seem to do things as they like and it is a genuine and homely place. It is also a hotel and it has an area especially for dining that has a real BNB type feel to it, nothing too fancy, just a nice plain extra area to sit and eat and the menu is cheap although a little basic. There's a decent range of drinks available - three bitters, including Bombardier, and Stowells wine from a tap. The actual drinking area is a little cramped, but you should usually still get a seat. There's a pool table that doesn't get too busy. This pub excels in terms of atmosphere, - buzzing, lively and friendly. Everyone is having fun and you'll want to join them - so make sure you do if you're around this way.
