Although the Settle Inn chain go wholesale for the stripped pine look, there's a good feel to this one that raises it out of All Bar One averageness. It has the feel of a well-loved local pub: a nice mix of punters (there's a 'regular of the month' competition) and decent grub (particularly fine Thai Food) are the high points. For this stretch around the Archway roundabout, it's probably your best bet.
