picture of William IVWith the exterior covered in flowers this is a good looking pub and the lush interior of King William IV didn't disappoint either. The pub's Victorian features seemed still pretty much intact, complete with an unusual S-shaped bar which snaked its way through the two room pub. Staff were attentive and most pleasingly, the clientele was refreshingly lively and cosmopolitan. In the past, the pub has been commended for it's micro brewery, the 'Sweet William'. Sadly, there was no evidence of it on our visit and it appears to have not been in production for some time now. However, this cannot detract from the fact that this is a good pub in an area that needs them.
