how to find it:
From the bus station opposite the tube exit there's several buses that pass the pub. The area is identified on the bus stops as Bakers Arms, at the junction of Hoe Street, Lea Bridge Road and Leyton High Road. Here you will find the Drum.

Drum is the kind of pub people either love or hate. In keeping with some other Wetherspoons in greater London, this is not a hugely female-friendly place, with the atmosphere that accompanies old men and cheap prices. On the other hand, those CAMRA folk on the hunt for real ale will not be disappointed - no less than 8 were available. On our weekend night visit the place was bustling with people, but despite this, there was something lacking in the atmosphere and the place had a slightly depressing feel to it. OK for a couple but there are better nearby.
