A quirky Sam Smith's pub in the heart of the touristy bit of Soho. Some nice old features remain and give the pub an olde worlde atmosphere. It's larger than it looks from the outside, with a basement bar and space out the back to have a cigarette hidden away, along with a hugely enjoyable bar billiards table. There's usually a regular or two in the front part of the pub - it's that kind of place - along with the usual smattering of Soho media office workers. It's better than a lot of the tourist traps in the area, made even better by Sam Smith's (cheap) pricing. As long as you have a liking for Sam Smith's fare - and not everyone does - this one's a good place to meet up in if you're heading further into Soho. It's also one of the better pubs in this neck of the woods on Friday and Saturday nights.
