picture of Walpole ArmsMore multicultural than some in the area, the Walpole Arms is one of those pubbarcafé places, offering Thai food as well as decent beer, wine and particularly champagne. A wall of stunning Victorian tiling and the attractive exterior are the remnants of the building's former days. Monday night promises 'tequila roulette', Wednesday's karaoke night and there's a general 10 student discount. Not a bad place overall.
