picture of Hanover ArmsA big, noisy, uncomplicated place this. Perfectly well suited for a Saturday afternoon reading the Sun and watching the big screen over a pint. There would appear to be one or two characters among the clientele, including one fellow at the table next to us with a stock of Shane McGowan anecdotes.
