Leave Oxford Circus station, go down Regent Street, take the third left into Beak Street, walk along it a short way and it's on your left. From Piccadilly Circus, walk up Regent Street, take the fourth right into Beak Street and you'll find it on your left.

picture of Old Coffee HouseA traditional looking pub, with loads of knickknacks hanging from the ceiling and pictures on the wall to impress the tourists, but it doesn't have that faked olde worlde look that some places do, because it's looked this way for years. After work, it's packed with local workers, some stay and some go, there's a steady turnover of people, but the atmosphere somehow manages to stay relaxed. Every so often you will get a bunch of tourists wandering into the place, but this pub takes them in its stride. Directors, Young's and Pedigree are on draft and with prompt, attentive service, this pub would be a pretty decent local anywhere, especially remarkable in Soho.
