Moby Dick, Rotherhithe  

This large pub on a dockside, just in from the river, hasn't really changed much in recent history, maybe edged upmarket a little along with the surrounding area. The food looks good, the beer's more than palatable with a good range of Fuller's excellent ales on tap (including Festival Mild when we were last in), and the wine list should cater for most tastes. Lovely place to spend a nice afternoon or evening, sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine reflecting off the water. It's the sort of pub that if you're here, it's hard to leave, although that might be because everything's so far away.
