sorry no picture of this pubA pub that's in part trying to trade on its history - apparently the pub and the name are hundreds of years old - this is a place that should worry a little more about the future. The décor is OK, just average old school boozer with a lick of paint, the staff are friendly enough, and the Guinness is great - always a good sign. And, a la Pub Landlord they even do some half way decent wines for the ladies. Entertainment includes pub Jenga, a reasonable juke box and hysterical Saturday night karaoke. The problem lies in some of the clientele - local teens, drunk on shandy, who seemingly find it difficult to get served elsewhere. If you can get the corner table by the fire on a long winter's afternoon when the rest of the place is quiet, then its absolutely fine. The rest of the time, you'd be better off at any one of the other
