sorry no picture of this pub The Jack Beard chain specialize in no-nonsense pubs and can be your best bet in some parts of South London, offering something a bit livelier than the sempiternal depression of some Wetherspoons and a safer environment than the local rough house. This one certainly keeps with the ethics of all the other Jack Beard pubs we've drank in: it may not be the most luxurious watering hole you'll ever visit, but they know how to pull in the punters. It helps if you can keep your beer well (as they do here) and a couple of pool tables always come in handy. A dartboard and big screen sport are also included in the package, and they also make a big play of their live music nights.
