From Victoria: If you leave the station by the main entrance, you'll see all the bus stops straight ahead and to the right. Turn right and then turn right again down Wilton Road. Keep going until you reach Warwick Way and turn left. The pub is about 30 meters down on the left corner. If you take the Victoria Street/Coach station exit, turn right and cross the road at the crosswalk. Bear right down Wilton Road and keep going until you reach Warwick Way and turn left. The pub is about 10 meters down on the left. From Pimlico: when you leave the station, cross over to the right, across Rampayne and take the first right into Tachbrook Street. Follow it along and the pub is across Warwick Way to the left.

picture of The Warwick (ex Hedgehog and Pheasant)Certainly a step up from when it was known as the Hedgehog and Pheasant, The Warwick has ditched the badly aged 90's name and gone the most predictable of routes by smartening itself up as a next generation pub - its indistinguishable from the sort of place which calls itself a 'bar and eating house', even if it doesn't. For this privilege prices have been hiked accordingly and over £3 a pint is the rule here, rather than the exception. Loungey furnishings, muted colours, wine lists and unexciting Greene King ales can be found but considering it's essentially an afterwork hangout, it's all pleasant enough. It doesn't exactly get our juices following however, perhaps because we've seen this kind of makeover a thousand times before; suffice to say there are more interesting alternatives nearby.
