how to find it:

From Victoria: If you leave the station by the main entrance, you'll see all the bus stops straight ahead and to the right. Turn right and then turn right again down Wilton Road. The pub is five minutes walk down on the right.

picture of The Prince of WalesPerhaps it's a reaction to the somewhat impersonal pubs in the area, but this one seems to fit the bill quite nicely. It's a traditional pub in Victoria, with good selection of bitters and reasonable pub food - Hoegaarden is the only concession to trendiness. This is a top boozer for the location, with friendly staff and easy clientele. It's not very big, so it gets crowded when everyone's in. Nice pint, comfortable. Old ladies drink here at lunchtime. Cool.
