picture of The SunWhen the surrounding bars were packed shoulder to shoulder with the clamourous hordes that throng Covent Garden of an evening, this place was quiet. Maybe too quiet. There was no real reason why this situation should be, but suffice it to say there were seats available and only a murmur of conversation. A couple of widescreen TVs were showing the footy - to a largely uninterested clientele. There are real ales on the pumps a pretty standard wine list and the service is OK. All in all, a pretty standard pub offering and the quietness of the place, make of that what you will.
