Hop on a 161 from North Greenwich - the Rose of Denmark has its "own" bus stop. Or turn left out of Charlton Station, then left again into Woolwich Road.

picture of Rose of DenmarkThe Rose of Denmark is a very attractive looking pub situated on the less than lovely Woolwich Road. The pub is Charlton Athletic through and through, but don't let that put you off - it's a welcoming place; you don't see many footy pubs with photos of away fans from previous seasons. There are two large television screens showing sporting events, should that be your thing. Charlton has its good pubs and its bad pubs, this one definitely belongs in the former category.
