picture of Old EagleA warm and welcoming pub on any day but especially welcoming on a cold, wet, miserable day in November. Even though it's had the now traditional "gastro" treatment (settees, striped down furniture "art" on the walls etc), it's only a nod to the genre and the pub is largely unblemished by it. It's a genuine, friendly, local boozer, that serves decent, well priced drink and food. The beer's pretty good and the service is excellent - all in all an offering that's rare in many locations, but especially welcome in Camden.
