picture of The VillageLocated in quiet Walthamstow Village, The Village serves a good handful of (CAMRA approved) ales and attracts a wide selection of locals and regulars. Its a popular but relaxed and friendly local, ideal for whiling away an afternoon with a good pint and a paper, or meeting up with friends for a chatty and drunken Friday night. There's also a garden at the back for the summer months and a weekly quiz night. This is still definitely a pub worth seeking out in Walthamstow.

Eating at The Village ... we last ate here on 20/02/2007

Perfectly good trad pub grub (burgers, curries, pies) apparently homemade and pretty cheap (nothing above £6). Served lunchtimes and most evenings between 5.30 and 8.30.
