how to find it:

Turn right from Mitcham tram station onto London Road, and head for the Cricket ground. The pub is just past the junction with Cricket Green, on your left.

Before donning your best whites and striking up a conversation about the intricacies of spin bowling, note the dominant size of a photo of England's 1966 World Cup winning team above the bar. It appears then that football is now the sport of choice here. The punters on our visit seemed to be steering toward a Big Night Out, so whilst enjoying a drink here we didn't stay on for a second. Lively to some, lairy to others, a 2 pinter if you catch it at the right time.
