how to find it:

Shepherd's Bush (Hammersmith and City): exit tube, turn right, keep walking. You'll reach the pub in about 5-10 mins. Shepherd's Bush (Central line): exit tube, turn right, keep walking passing Shepherd's Bush Green and the Shepherd's Bush Empire. Once you pass the Hammersmith and City line stop, follow the instructions above.

picture of Queen AdelaideA slight improvement on many of the boozers in this neck of the woods (though that's not saying much), this is a large pub that has room for all. Sky Sports on the big screen dominated proceedings on our visit, so all but the most myopic of football fans will be happy here. Big enough to play host to large crowds, it's proximity to Loftus Road means it fills up a bit pre and post match. Not one to go out of your way for, but a decent enough local all the same.
