how to find it:
From Goldhawk Road tube, head west down the Goldhawk Road. Turn right onto Cathnor Road and keep going until you reach the junction with Goodwin Road, then turn left. Take another left onto Melina Road and you'll find the pub on a street corner. From Shepherd's Bush tube, go west down the Uxbridge Road. Cross the road and turn left down Coningham Road. Turn right down Goodwin Road and then left for Melina Road.

We've long suspected that QPR fans must have a masochistic streak. If the reports we received that they use this place to meet before games are correct, then our suspicion would appear to be well founded. Okay, it's big and spacious, but a staggering lack of imagination and concern surrounds the whole venture. The décor is that blonde blandness which afflicts every modern chain from here to Istanbul. Quite a feat isn't it, to be less imaginative than the Allbar Slug & Piano chain? The beer is served with little care and the food may be good - we didn't try - but it looks like standard modern pub grub. And as for the toilets... UPDATE Well, we've not rushed back to this one, but when we find the blue and white stripe tops we will, as we can be masochistic too.
