From Beckenham Junction station, turn left and then right at the traffic lights, down the High Street. Turn left into Manor Road, and then take the fifth right into Chancery Lane (a ten minute walk); the pub is on the left.

picture of Jolly Woodman Simply a great pub. This is a charming old-fashioned place with some good beer (usually four real ales including Harvey's and Young's) and friendly locals. The pub has recently had a lick of paint applied, some new upholstery and the beer garden brightened with new plants, hanging baskets and so on. The menu is looking up too with food now served everyday. With the Jolly Woodman's rural feel, it is no surprise to find that the pub has its own golf society. It is the sort of boozer where you'd want to spend an afternoon with a pint, and maybe even a friend.
