picture of Rose and CrownSet back from the main road and next door to a Church, this is another example of the professionalism you come to expect from Fullers. Big enough to accommodate everyone - a hard floored saloon bar adjoins the lounge bar which leads onto the dining section and the pub caters well whatever the occasion. Sport on the TV can really fill the place up, but the food and handiness for South Ealing keep the place ticking along. Its large beer garden is ideal for the odd summer barbecue and they have regular (if occasionally ropey) music nights. It has the usual Fullers ales, pretty well kept, and also manages a guest ale or two. A shame the dartboard went in the last refurb, but they haven't shifted the sometimes grumpy older locals who inhabit the bar area. Even so, this is a good local, its popularity is borne out by being busy most evenings and even on afternoon visits.
