picture of One of TwoNot really much different to the other two One of 2s (eh!), it's a City bar, with all the attendant plusses and minuses. We only go in these places when we're meeting people who know no better. We understand Fullers operate both the One of 2 and the Fine Line chains with the female drinker in mind. They're clean, somewhat soulless and make a feature of modern interior design ideas and novelty drinks. Pub theory dictates that your décor and ethos attract a certain punter, and then he or she creates the atmosphere. If twenty-something female investment bankers are your favourite drinking companions then this is the place to be. One thing in its favour. This formula just doesn't do it for us.

At least Fullers convertedthe derelict loading bay of the offices next door to create this Conranesque pickup joint rather than rip into Georgian and Edwardian pub stock. Hopefully this signals a trend away from proliferating 'pub to wine bar' conversions.
