picture of The Birds NestThis pub is definitely one for the locals. It's welcoming enough and a jolly time is to be had by all, but it's not one you'd go out of your way to get to. The pubs has accommodation, which often means it's often packed with locals and residents, who can be an entertaining crowd. Still, it's a pretty safe pub in an area not exactly known for them. Despite its small size, the live music at weekends is a bit of a draw, with some pretty competent musicianship being demonstrated. You might even recognise one or two of the faces in the band.
