how to find it:

Leave the station and head along Upper Richmond towards Putney. When you get to the junction with Putney High Street, you should see the Railway in front of you. Cross over to the railway and then walk down the High Street for a short while and you'll see the place on your left. (It's opposite Putney railway station.)

picture of Pied PiperWe don't remember this from the old days, but there are hints that this place used to be a pub. The place has been given a lick of paint and an emphasis on bar type drinks to appeal to the local trendies, but it looks like its main competition comes from the Wetherspoon pub nearby. Why else would they do the two meals for a fiver offer etc? The service is friendly, but place has an air of desperation about it during the week, which may disappear at weekend nights. It's another we'll have to check out.
