The Strutton Arms is a standard looking chain pub situated at the head of the attractive Strutton Ground and its attached market. It's rather sports focused, with a number of screens and it's hard to escape it here when its on, although the back is probably the best bet if you're not a fan. The service was acceptable but pretty unenthusiastic and considering the quietness at the time of our visit, we wondered why ashtrays laid empty and glasses uncollected. We also thought perhaps recognition of its role in entertainment history would make a return. But no; corporate posters for various drinks offers and sports events were the decoration here - probably in accordance with head office. Fine for a drink, we felt it was a pub with more than one missed opportunity.
