how to find it:
Exit tube and cross the road, and head left toward the large tower of the Town Hall. As you reach the junction beside the Town Hall, swing a right up Acre Lane. Trinity Gardens is the first turning on your right.

If what you're after in Brixton is an unassuming pub rather than a style bar, this is probably you're best bet. Off the main drag in a quiet Victorian square, it's a tad removed from the sights and smells of Brixton centralis. Well kept beer, a pub cat and a good beer garden. Despite the rather dated interior, it manages to attract a broad range of locals throughout the week, proving you don't need to make a pub trendy to attract customers. A good local with a great atmosphere.
