Formerly known as the Gluepot, this was once the favourite watering hole of the BBC Orchestra when Henry Wood was its conductor, and the Queens Hall (now the St. George's Hotel) was still in existence. We, though, did spot a BBC DJ conducting an interview on our most recent visit. It is a lovely looking pub which suffers a little from its prominence on Great Portland Street as it is often packed out with thirsty office workers. At quieter times of the day it is a very pleasant place for a pint.
