picture of Spread EagleIn the shadow of the (closed) Young's Brewery, the Spread Eagle greets you with a great exterior - and doesn't disappoint inside either. From the exceptionally rare entrance awnings to antique mirrors and etched glass, the décor lends a charming old-fashioned atmosphere to the place. We've seen this one very quiet at times, but pleased to say when we last looked in, a good-sized contingent of SW18 locals were sampling the pub's Victorian glories (and giving the pool table and dart board a good going over). The Young's beers satisfy, and even if this one's may not be the place for a rip-roaring time, this is still certainly a pub worth seeing.
