how to find it:
From Oxford Circus, you need to find the Regent Street North exit and try to come out in front of Nike Town. If you can manage this, you want to go East along Oxford Street to the next intersection and go up Great Portland Street to Langham Street. Turn right when you get there and the Yorkshire Grey should be visible. From Great Portland Street station, go down Great Portland Street to Langham Street and turn left - again it should be visible when you get there.

This is a nice looking Victorian pub, in the eating and drinking area centred around the junction of Great Titchfield Street and Langham Street. It serves the usual Sam Smith's fare (a bonus for some, a bane for others) and basically just gets on with the job. The walls are decorated with BBC related memorabilia as it's just round the corner from Broadcasting House. The whole area tends to get mobbed on Friday nights with workers from the local offices (mostly rag-trade and publishing) so it's not an area for a quiet drink at those times - but few places round here are. For the rest of the time however, it's a pretty peaceful place.
