Exit the tube and turn left and head down Upper Tooting Road toward all the shops. The pub is about 5 mins walk, and is on your right hand side.

picture of Kings HeadOld Victorian gin palace that hasn't lost too many of its original features. Still enough etched glass and closed off nooks to admire, even if the overall impression of the place is somewhere for the lads to watch the football on the big screen. Added attractions are well made pub grub and a pool table. A makeover a few years ago added a slight loungey touch to the interior that works OK, and a blue and yellow exterior that doesn't. Despite all that, it's one of the best in the area.
