Although this Victorian pub is in the heart of a very touristy area, it's not just for them - it's also aimed at sports fans and locals. There are screens scattered around the place and big televised sporting events can draw big crowds. It also does a decent job of catering for tourists, with food available most of the time (part of the upstairs focuses on dining, but you can eat anywhere) and it offers a reasonable range of well kept Cask Marque) beers and honest pub grub. The service is fast and friendly and it's almost always busy, so it's probably not the place for a cosy pint and the crossword, but handy to meet in and watch the big match.
