picture of The YachtThe Yacht is often a better choice than the Trafalgar a couple of doors down, as it tends to be less crowded. The beer is good (usually two or three real ales) and a reasonable wine list of mostly new world varieties. There's a range of reasonably priced food too, with main courses for less than £10, and the pub has a welcoming atmosphere. However, it can get crowded here at weekend when families come for lunch. If you're lucky enough to get a window table, a view from Borthwick Wharf in Deptford around to the Millennium Dome awaits. The Yacht may not be the best pub in Greenwich, but it's a decent boozer all the same.
