how to find it:
Borough: leave the tube, walk up the High Street towards London bridge, you'll see the pub pretty soon on your right. London Bridge: leave the station and walk down Borough High Street (away from the river). carry on for a short while and you'll see the pub on your left.

A long, narrow Victorian pub that has abandoned any pretence at tradition and gone straight for the young Friday Saturday night crowd, when it has DJs until 2:00am. We can't comment on Friday and Saturday nights, but during the week, even old gits like us were made to feel welcome, so it's not as scary as it might sound to some. As you might expect, booze was definitely oriented towards alcopops and the like, but you can get an ordinary pint. If you like house, garage, etc you'll be OK here. However, if this is not your scene, we would suggest you visit one of the more historic hostelries just up the road.
