Take the train to Barnes Bridge Station. Come on to the main road (The Terrace) and turn left, following the river round to the pub which is on the right hand side of the road.

picture of Ye White HartGrand, stately affair that's justifiably one of Young's flagship pubs. The wonderful raised view of the river makes it a very popular haunt on Boat Race day. The usual Young's ales are on tap or perhaps you might prefer to work your way through the extensive wine list. Either way, this is a fine place in which to while away a summer's afternoon.
