picture of The Bulls Head"Europe's best Jazz venue" claims the sign outside, and given the names on the walls of past performers, they may have a point. With the jazz in question being more of a trad than an avant-garde style, your fellow drinkers are more middle-aged chaps than goatee bearded hipsters. Nevertheless, there's a relaxed and easygoing feel to this one, and non-jazz fans shouldn't be put off. Allegedly, some of the new neighbours are trifle upset about the music played here. Did the estate agents not tell them the luxury flats were next door to the pub?
