picture of The Old Pack HorseA good, solid pub. Has a sleepy feel out of hours, but picks up at nights when a mixed bunch of locals fill the place out. The old fashioned interior has some plush leather sofas dotted about, and with the beer being brewed down the road you're sure of a decent pint. The Thai kitchen at the back comes recommended too. One of the best pubs in the area.
