The Forum (840m)
Full-on gastropub, but one that blends in seamlessly with the large Victorian houses of the area. An early convert of the gastro cause, so no surprises to see the spartan look of lots of natural light and solid wooden tables being much in evidence here. It's also one of those gastropubs that you feel slightly out of kilter in if you're just drinking and not eating. Has a place in the great scheme of things though, especially if you're after something rather less intimidating than most of the pubs in Archway.
