picture of King and QueenA lot of the pubs between Warren Street and Goodge Street are moderate drinking holes, but this one sticks out. It's a bit off the main drag, but a Friday night visit found it to be one of the most popular pubs in the area. It attracts a fair mix of punters, the beers (especially Adnam's and now the excellent St. Austell Tribute) are well kept and a jovial atmosphere pervades. The bar staff are prompt and friendly and aren't overawed by big crowds at the bar. It's perhaps one worth sampling on a quieter night - a winter's evening drinking next to the fire is something we're looking forward too. Fine brass till too.
