Turners Arms
RIP: Turners Arms
Our final review:
"We thought this place was going to get a lick of paint and continue as quiet freehouse serving the locals. We didn’t realise the clientele would be replaced too. When we walked in to a now packed pub, everyone turned and looked at us as if we’d walked in to the vicarage for tea with the vicar and crapped on the carpet. We thought this kind of unfriendliness was reserved for city boys in redneck country, not urban pubs. Maybe it was a one-off event and we’ll go back to check soon, but on our most recent experience we can no longer recommend this pub."

So, what’s become of it?
Now a Thai restaurant run by the same people who do the food in the Windsor Castle.
