What you think of the pubs

White Hart

Our final review:
A Guinness clock and a Charrington neon- an unusual combo“A glowing Charringtons sign, a ‘Guinness Time clock’…after a quick wipe of the eyes to check this isn’t a mirage invoked by the presence of a nearby Slug & Lettuce, you’ll find the White Hart is a real enough pub and a welcome one in the area. Even with Stamford Bridge a short walk away, the only sign of any sporting paraphernalia decorating the place are some posters to an old Kerry Gaelic football side. Along with some stuffed animals, that’s your lot for décor: the rest is all (modern) wood and an outdoor space at the back. A few TVs adorn the pub (there’s a space at the back for the larger screen) though nothing too much to distract from the feel of an idiosyncratic little place going about its business. Top notch Adnams and Thai food complete the bill. Grand. “

So, what’s become of it?

picture ofWhite HartWell, the signs have gone (hopefully to architectural salvage) and it’s no longer a pub, now it’s a nightclub called Chateau 6 catering for (in their words) “the glamorous set of South-West London”.
