This review couldn’t be further from the truth! Under new management from when this review was posted, St C’s is the perfect place for a pint! The menu is really good value and very tasty! Its not ‘gastro’ at all and even though there is a casual dining room you are free to eat and drink anywhere in the place. Lots of fresh produce is used from the Borough Market that it is opposite, which you can tell as soon as you taste it. The Sunday Roast is, hands down, the best Sunday Roast around and the best value for money.
They carry a massive range of beers, a smaller but well chosen range of wine and ales. All of which are totally average on price.
Friday nights have live bands from 10.30 and Saturday nights have a funk DJ in who is always spinning the classics you cant help but have fun to.
They even have outside seating available in the evening for the smokers amongst us which is a rare treat!
I always have a ball at St C’s. It’s a cozy, good time pub that I can’t get enough of.
Get down there!!!
