A huge pub on the outskirts of Enfield and at the edge of Green Belt land, The Jolly Farmers covers most of the bases pretty well. They serve the usual McMullen's real ales (not bad) and fairly predictable but hearty pub food. It's size would be a problem for some pubs, but they seem to have handled the space well enough, with areas divided off, some with tables and chairs, others with couches. It's bright and modern, but not out of place with it's leafy surroundings and is the kind of provincial place that can get very busy for Sunday lunch. Pop in, if you ever happen to be that far north.
