Moby Dick, Rotherhithe
FancyaPint?'s review...
The Moby Dick is a large pub on a dockside, just in from the river on the south bank of the Thames. It hasn't really changed much in recent history, perhaps it has edged upmarket a little along with the surrounding area. The food is adequate, the beer's more than palatable with a good range of Fuller's excellent ales on tap (including such specials as Festival Mild and Red Fox), and the wine list should cater for most tastes. the service is friendly and it's a good location to spend a nice afternoon or evening, sitting outside and enjoying the sunshine reflecting off the water. It's the sort of pub that if you're here, it's hard to leave, although that might be because everything else is so far away.

Plus - If you like Fullers Ale, have a drink here.
Minus - "Sunday Roast" - cheap but far from cheerfull. If you like microwaved packet gravy, frozen veg and meat eat here. We had beef - cheap cut, sliced thinly & cooked to death and lamb - thicker slices, tender but tasteless.
Ladies : broken paper dispenser so zero paper. Gents : missing toilet seat and a general air of uncleanliness. The floors are obviously regular brushed but not CLEANED.
